Dimitris studied Electrical Engineering (BEng) at the National Technical University of Athens (Metsovio) and Biomedical Engineering (MSc) at the University of Aberdeen. His conversion into an experimental psychologist/neuroscientist began at the University of Birmingham, where he completed a PhD in Psychology, investigating action planning processes primarily by means of EEG. His previous 5-year collaboration with Günther and Natalie started at the University of Birmingham in 2007 and continued as a post-doc at Radboud University Nijmegen. After a 3-year period at Ghent University where he investigated hand preference and object affordances, Dimitris rejoined the SOMBY group at the CEU in August 2015.
