Marcell joined the Cognitive Science Department at CEU as a Research Assistant in 2016. In 2018, he started his PhD under the supervision of Günther Knoblich and John Michael. His core research focuses on the role of effort in commitment. In particular, he is interested in how and when people respond to the perception of their partner’s effort and anticipate their partner’s response to their effort within the context of joint action.
