Shaheed completed his BSc(Hons) in 2015, and then his PhD in Psychology in 2019, both at the University of Melbourne. His thesis explored the processes responsible for object-based compatibility effects, as well as the social modulation of spontaneously perceived affordances. Shaheed is now working at the SOMBY lab as a Postdoctoral researcher, studying the processes that underpin affordance perception for the dyad.
