Before joining the CEU for her PhD studies in September 2015, Simily graduated at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar with a MA in Cognitive Science. As part of her Master’s thesis, she explored the influence of response selection in causing attentional blink. Her primary interests in action science led her to joint action research. She is currently a member of the SOMBY lab under the supervision of Guenther Knoblich and Natalie Sebanz investigating the role of motor variability in joint action learning.
